The new printed finish uses a protective exterior paint to provide an ultra scratch-resistant surface finish. A new digital printing, production line has been installed at Hörmann’s Ichtershausen plant that manufactures sectional garage doors. The 70 metre long production line includes priming and end processing technology as well as printing film-laminated door sections. The new process offers both a wider range of wood effect appearances as well as new options such a “Concrete” and “Rusty Steel.” These new finishes further add to the extensive design choices already available from Hörmann.
