To mark the occasion, a celebration was held at the DHF’s headquarters in Tamworth, where Bob was presented with an antique key (which he collects) and some champagne. Despite reaching this milestone birthday, Bob says that he has no plans to reach for the proverbial “pipe and slippers” as there is still far too much work to be done to support the industry he has been part of since 1962.
