Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 40 THE door industry journal spring 2015 garage doors Ryterna at the Stuttgart R+T show The R+T show in Stuttgart is the biggest event in the garage door business in Europe and this year Ryterna presented their latest products and news on a 240 sq.m stand. Two new door designs with Okoume and MDF panels were launched at the show. Okoume plywood doors offer a natural wood look and are extremely resistant to the elements whilst the water resistant MDF panels can be painted any colour. The door surface can be decorated by applying one of the many ornamental decals and appliqués available in the standard range. Also individually designed tailor made ornamental decals and appliqués can be produced to special order. Both of the new door designs are supplied with five layers of factory applied of primer, paint or varnish. Another new door introduced at the show is the ‘FV Thermo Slick’ which is a glazed door with flush triple glazing and aluminium thermo profiles. This is certainly a glazed door with a perfect U-value that can be fit the most demanding requirements. Finally, this year Ryterna plans to commence front entrance door production, with the first examples being presented at the show. These are tailor made doors produced to match the style of existing garage doors or windows, or for a new-build houses can be supplied as sets together with a tailor made garage door. Ryterna will be promoting this solution to their dealers with a focus on opening new horizons with architects and housebuilders.
