Traditional Autolocks are by far the most popular locking system currently offered by most roller door manufacturers to provide locking to roller garage door curtains, however they have their limitations. French manufacturer Deprat, have an alternative curtain rolling and locking system, which improves the security and minimises curtain damage on rolling! For a limited time, JD (UK) – Deprat’s UK distributor are offering free Deprat locking system samples to demonstrate the superior properties of the Deprat system to dealers and installers to show their prospective customers. Phil Kane from Merlin Roller Shutters in Rotherham who manufacture roller garage doors for the trade using Alutech components and Deprat barrel commented: “Over the last couple of years we have seen a marked shift in demand towards the Deprat system, with the additional strength provided by the locking system, ability to make wider and higher doors easily makes up for the small additional cost of the system”.
