The distribution centre was divided into 2 sections, ambient temperature and chilled area. Prior to the order, Alpha supplied 2 trial doors into a similar environment to satisfy client usability, ease of use, and to check for condensation in the chill area. Thankfully upon inspection, the end user client approved the doors in both the ambient and chilled areas. Furthermore, initially the end user client selected ISO40 Doors for the project, however because insulation and low U values were required the client subsequently decided to upgrade all doors to the Alpha ISO60 offering improved U value’s over the Industry norm 40mm doors.
