Hart’s Speedor ‘Cleanroom’ Doors fit the bill in an exceptional clean room environment Working with Kramer Cold Clad, the Tewkesbury- based full project design and build service specialist involved with insulated construction projects, Hart Door Systems has supplied three Speedor ‘Cleanroom’ doors for a contract in Derby which required high-speed doors in an exceptional clean room environment. Kramer Cold Clad worked with Total Environmental Kooling on the design and construction of a high-specification clean room complete with pedestrian doors, rapid action door systems for the client, Trescal Derby. Hart’s Speedor ‘Cleanroom’ high speed doors, as the name implies, are for pharmaceuticals, food, medical/biotechnology, electronics and in general any sector that requires strict cleanroom conditions for production. Accordingly, the door is capable of easy cleaning, high-speed action and maintaining strict air leakage requirements over specified pressure differentials. Features include the non-touch safety light curtain as well as a clean in-line drive system with integral safety brake. This active infrared presence detection sensor is, as all Optex sensors, fully in compliance with the European Standard EN16005 and the BS7036. The OA-Presence TN setting and installation procedure is now in line with the complete Optex range of EN 16005 compliant sensors due to interchanging the function switch button for a function push button to confirm all settings. Two AIR detection rows, each consisting of 12 spots, allowing the installer to determine whether a dense detection area or a broad detection area is preferred on site. Next to functional adjustments, the design of the OA-Presence TN has been upgraded to match the appearance and size of other sensors in the Optex range. This makes the overall design of sensors appear the same, particularly when mounted to one door operator. The OA-Presence TN is particularly suited as a side screen safety sensor which prevents doors from hitting someone or something during the opening cycle of the door, or as a threshold safety sensor used in combination with external activators like push buttons, security systems or any other kind of activator. The Optex OA-Presence TN is direct available from stock and comes in two colours: black and white, a recessed mounting bracket completes the range of available accessories.
