KG profile rolling mill has consistently been providing innovations for the market. After the patented ISO-SL profile first expanded the range of roller doors with an especially quiet and also very fast moving roller door profile, the colour range for insulated roller shutter doors with the popular 1.95 R profile was extended last year to 11 colours similar to RAL 3000, 5010, 6009, 7005, 7016, 7044, 8014, 9002, 9006, 9007 and 9016. The latest development is an optimised shaft, which produces a virtually undisturbed circular shape of the barrel with an integrated mounting of the hanger rail and thus significantly smoother running when rolling up and unrolling the shutter. The hanger rail in the integrated mounting rests on the entire width of the shutter. The axle position is ideally located slightly outside the middle of the actual tube in the centre of the rolled up barrel. This slight shift in the direction of the hanger rail mounting achieves a reduction in the starting torque when rolling up the shutter. The optimised and patented shaft is supplied as a component of the most current roller shutter door kits. Due to the improved running characteristics, it is especially recommended for fast-moving roller shutter doors with ISO-SL, 1.95 R and 1.100 D sections.
