The strategic partnership has gone from strength to strength and Aluroll have reported a significant rise in the number of orders from installers as organisations, architects and specifiers have become increasingly aware of the unique product. The Eurolook® Standard model is made from polycarbonate links built in a brick formation, creating a maximum security barrier which allows 92% of daylight to pass through it. Designed to be flexible enough to bend without cracking or breaking, the vision solution is commonly installed in shops, museums and banks to display items and increase light ingress. The Eurolook® shutter is flame retardant and UV stabilised to prevent discolouration. Customisation options include a choice of transparent, frosted or ventilated finishes, or it can be upgraded to transparent with a scratch and graffiti proof coating. The shutter is available in measurements up to 6m high, with a maximum width of 12 metres internally or 7m wide externally. Rob de Kort, General Manager at Eurolook®, said: “We’ve had considerable success since partnering with Aluroll and look forward to developing our relationship in the future”. Chris Roberts, Operations Manager at Aluroll, said: “The Eurolook® is a perfect addition to our vision shutter range, helping us provide a solution for businesses with specialised requirements. We have been partners for the past 6 years and hope to continue our exclusive contract for many years to come”. ALUROLL NIGERIA SUPPLIES SHUTTERS FOR WEST AFRICA’S LARGEST SECURITY PROJECTS Business is stronger than ever for Aluroll Nigeria, which recently saw the completion of two of the region’s most prestigious security projects. A UK architect required security for warehouses on a port complex in the capital Lagos, employing the services of local access control experts Base Concepts & Designs. The installers chose Aluroll Nigeria as the project’s supplier because of their Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) approved Elite range. The SR3 rated shutter which was deemed most appropriate for the high security application, and four 7m wide i100 Elite shutters were installed on the complex. Aina Emmanuel, General Manager of Base Concepts & Designs, said: “We are proud to have provided a high level of protection to an industry which is naturally very security conscious. Aluroll Nigeria supply the most secure shutters in this region, especially since LPCB approved products were impossible to attain in Lagos before they began manufacturing them”. Aluroll Nigeria has also supplied shutters for a pioneering new 80,000m 2 leisure development in Lagos. Plans for the new FairAcres estate included three 3-phase S76 shutters installed at the entrance to the complex, including an 8m design. After years of exporting products to the country by air and sea on a job by job basis, Aluroll established a base in Lagos in 2011. Last year saw the completion of a new purpose-built factory, which manufactures security shutters for installers working across West Africa. Aluminium shutters have been well-received in the region as an aesthetically pleasing alternative to the iron bars which are commonly seen on commercial premises. Ademola Okulaja was a customer in the country before becoming Managing Director of Aluroll Nigeria. He said: “Last year’s expansion was driven by client demand and it’s already proving a success, having manufactured products for a number of important projects already. We’re receiving more enquiries than ever before and look forward to the future”. Find out about Aluroll’s products on the website www.aluroll.co.uk .
