P C Henderson introduces Imperial Patio Kit for easy installation P C Henderson, leading designer and manufacturer of sliding door hardware, has introduced the Imperial Patio Kit, to help builders and installers accelerate the fitting process. Imperial Patio Kit comes with all the required components and is designed to be flexible as any number of sliding doors can be used on single or multiple lines of track to cover any width of opening. Ideal for both residential and commercial use, Imperial is a bottom rolling system designed for applications with limited headroom or where the structure or lintel is insufficient to hold the weight of the doors. The hardware is available in two kits, carrying doors weighing up to 200kg. The Master kit comes complete with a high security 6 hook lock and keep plate and a simple height adjustment mechanism, while the Slave door kit comes without the locking mechanisms. Ideal for straight sliding partitions, flush panel doors or fully glazed patio doors, Imperial can also be configured to create a centre parting, to help create the desired indoor/outdoor experience. Fergus Pickard, Product Development Director at P C Henderson comments: “The building industry is always looking at ways to reduce build time in order to be cost efficient. With Imperial Patio Kit, builders and installers can now quickly and easily fit a tried and tested patio door system that comes with all the required hardware components, saving both time and improve their bottom line.” The Imperial Patio Kit includes a 3m bronze rail, 2 bottom rollers, two guides, two stops, 3m of channel, two interlocking profiles of 2.4m, with the Master kit also including a lock kit and keep plate. In addition, there is a choice of five different handle finishes - Satin, Chrome, Gold, Black and White to suit personal tastes. P C Henderson is a member of the Door & Hardware Federation which represents all the key manufacturers and installers of industrial, commercial, pedestrian and garage doors and powered gates, as well as manufacturers of locks, building hardware and architectural ironmongery.
