Having identified a need to bring its logo, literature and website up to date, DHF has embraced a sympathetic move forward in the hope of raising its profile and attracting new members, but without forgetting its core audience. Over time, DHF anticipates that its new branding will be easily identifiable, projecting a strong and recognisable professional image. The soon-to-be-launched logo is strong with a definite boldness; and the new website will provide an improved platform to showcase its services, offering a clean, fresh and current interface with stimulating content befitting of the DHF brand. Features of the new website include speedier access to information, a thorough overview of the six member areas that it represents and the simple downloading of publications, and information relating to standards and legislation. A ‘business support area’ where press release and business plan templates can be accessed to support members’ business growth, will also be a unique feature. The branding and website launch come at an exciting time for DHF, which celebrates its 120th anniversary this year. The organisation has experienced significant member growth over the past five years, with 371 members in 2017, compared to 220 in 2012 and more than 1000 individuals have completed DHF’s Diploma Training Courses. In addition, the DHF initiative, ‘Gate Safety Week’, a year-long commitment that culminates in a week of activities during October, is now in its fourth year. “I am thrilled with the new branding, which is strong and modern,” said Marketing Manager, Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens. “The website delivers on all levels, is easy to navigate and reflects our values and vision. The organisation is experiencing growth and success and a more professional brand and website will enable it to move forward whilst also bringing a wealth of additional benefits for our members.”
