To help retain its position and continue building awareness throughout the UK, the Leicestershire-based manufacturer has announced that it has appointed Kieran Perry as national field sales manager. Kieran’s appointment comes following the retirement announcement of sales director, Alan Jenkins, who has worked for Hörmann for over 14 years. In his new role, Kieran will be responsible for leading the field sales team, consisting of six area sales managers and three project managers, each responsible for a region of the UK. To ensure that he has visibility over all projects, Kieran’s role is field based, which differs slightly from that of his predecessor, but ensures he is able to spend more time on-site with both colleagues and customers. As well as this, Kieran will be utilising his experience in sales and marketing management, to reinforce company values and unify brand understanding. Kieran began his career in sales and marketing, joining a family company shortly after leaving college. He progressed from here into management roles in both National and International companies, gaining a wide and varied commercial experience along the way. Bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to both the company and role, Hörmann believes that Kieran’s appointment will help drive awareness and increase market share in the UK, as managing director, David Newcombe, confirms: “The appointment of Kieran is a really exciting one for us and we are delighted to be able to welcome him to the team. Having gained a vast amount of sales experience in a number of different sectors, means that Kieran will be able to manage our field sales team with a fresh perspective and bring in new ideas to help grow the business.” On taking his appointment, Kieran commented: “For many years, Hörmann has been the industry front-runner for garage and industrial doors. Having worked for leading brands in several different industries, I believed that my knowledge and experience would bring something different to this role. Hörmann has an outstanding reputation, a strong international structure and an extremely proactive company ethos, so I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to help make it even better.” For more information about Hörmann, or to find out more about its product range and service packages, call 01530 513000 or visit www.hormann.co.uk . It was great to see so many people on stand taking an interest in what we have to offer and asking our advice on a wide array of projects. “This year’s show was not only a very successful one for us, but a very a memorable one too, as it marked the tenth time we have exhibited at the Homebuilding and Renovating event. It is amazing to think how far we have come in the last ten years, and we are looking forward to seeing what the next decade has in store for us.” Hörmann’s stand at this year’s show was jam packed with some of the leading door manufacturer’s most popular styles, as well as several new products being displayed for the first time.
