YALE APPOINTS NEW TECHNICAL DIRECTOR FOR DOOR HARDWARE Yale Door and Window Solutions has welcomed, Brett Evans to the business as its new Technical Director for Door Hardware, strengthening the senior team. In his new position, Brett will be responsible for overseeing and researching new door hardware developments in both the UK and international markets, as well as looking after the day-to-day application work. A key element of the role will be liaising with customers to develop bespoke product packages based on their requirements. Brett has an in-depth knowledge of the security industry having previously worked at ERA for the past 21 years. After graduating from the University of Wolverhampton with a degree in Business Studies, Brett started in a marketing position at the company and it was there he realised he wanted to become more involved with the product development side of the business. As a result, he moved over to a product management role, eventually working his way up to Business Development Director for both European and American product profiles. RAY BASSETT JOINS ALUROLL’S TECHNICAL SALES TEAM Aluroll would like to extend a warm welcome to Ray Bassett, who has recently joined as a member of the technical sales team. Ray will specialise in the trade supply of our security roller shutters, providing support for new and existing customers. Ray started his industrial door career straight out of school, and he is already proving to be a valuable asset to the business. He joins Chris McKniff, who heads up Aluroll’s roller garage door sector. Together they have over 60 years of combined experience and are well- known throughout the industry. They will provide nationwide support for a growing customer base. Mark Evans, Managing Director of Aluroll, said: “I had hoped for a young and dynamic sales force. PHOENIX DOORS STRENGTHENS ITS CUSTOMER SERVICES TEAM Phoenix Doors, has strengthened its customer services team with two key appointments. Jason Donnelly has been appointed Customer Service Office Manager, while Will Reader has rejoined the company in a new proactive client-facing role as Customer Experience Manager. In his new position, Jason brings extensive Network Rail management experience to leading a small team responsible for both internal and external customer relationships. He comments: “I’m enjoying a fresh challenge in a new industry and looking forward to helping deliver an excellent service throughout to all our customers.” A major part of Will’s new role will involve discussing issues and meeting with customers, many of whom he knows already from his previous sales office experience at Phoenix.
