53 THE door industry journal spring 2017 BACK TO SCHOOL WITH NRG AUTOMATION TO GIVE YOU MORE CONTROL ON SITE NRG Automation has long been renowned for its industry leading technical back up. In 2016, the NRG technical team assisted 93.7% of people to get paid there and then, or solve any on-site issues over the phone. Kimberley Arnold, technical manager at NRG Automation, said: “The few occasions we couldn’t get the door working over the phone, we sent out parts to solve the issue by overnight carrier; or actually went to site to fix it ourselves.” This year NRG Automation’s mission is to further educate its users to make life even easier for you, your customers, and the end-user. There are number of plans that are being implemented to make this happen. Lee Taylor Managing Director from LT Garage Doors, who is both a manufacturer and installer of Roller doors, explains: “The NRG training school has been a fundamental part of growing my business. Part of my expansion plans have been to bring in more installation teams and I need them to be up to speed quickly. What Kim’s training has allowed me to do as a business, is solve most snags on the day.” Lee continued, “The NRG Automation technical team is always flexible for your business needs. I initially did not want to have training, as I did not want it to eat into our working day, however the flexibility of NRG was just what we needed. Last time we had training they arrived at seven in the morning which was perfect for us. “Occasionally we do have to contact the technical team, but as they are available from 8am to 7pm everyday including the weekend, this has allowed me to get paid promptly, without the need to return to site. “As a manufacturer and an installer, I thought it was important to have a partner who would support my business goals. As such, when I opened my new state of the art showroom in Staffordshire, NRG Automation were the obvious choice to use to promote my roller doors”.
