Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk industrial doors NVM ADDS OWN BRAND DIRECT DRIVES TO MOTOR RANGE North Valley Metal (NVM) – one of the UK’s longest serving door industry suppliers - has added its own brand of Direct Drive operators to its already extensive range of industrial door components and motors. “It became obvious that, as a company, we needed to evolve with the industry and whilst we enjoy the privilege of being the UK’s largest supplier of industrial door components, we knew we had to add motors to our range,” explains Managing Director John Seymour. “But it was also important for us not to compromise our reputation for quality by offering something that did not meet with our own and, more importantly, our customer’s expectations. We’ve heard many stories about quality issues in the industry and didn’t want to fall into that trap with our large and loyal customer base.” “We were very selective when choosing our suppliers,” John continues, “and since the launch of our first motor we now boast four ranges of tube motors to suit every application. We also offer a range of in-line/fire shutter motors, and a range of direct drive operators that encompass the long established M-Tech range of industrial operators, from 140nm to 1400nm - in both mechanical and digital electronic options - and high speed door motors from HSD specialists Ditec.” In being so selective, NVM has ensured their suppliers provide a product that meets the company’s own standards of quality, reliability and functionality. To accompany the operators, NVM has also launched a 3 phase control panel that offers an array of built-in functions as standard, including manual switch, safety edge, photocell, auto-return and remote control. Panels and motors are installer friendly too, being supplied pre-wired and pre-plugged.
