Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 78 THE door industry journal spring 2017 industrial doors SWS UK ARE DEVELOPING SECEURODOOR 7502 – AN INDUSTRIAL DOOR WITH A LEVEL 2 SECURITY RATING SWS UK plan to announce the addition of SeceuroDoor 7502 to their range of industrial products. The commercial shutter has recently undergone independent testing and is being developed to the level 2 security rating. The door will be available alongside their existing 7501 (with a level 1 security rating) and their standard SeceuroDoor 75. Having been developed with their in-house product development team, the robust 7502 is manufactured with 18-gauge steel, as opposed to the 20 or 22 used on their standard commercial products and is fitted with windlocks, wind guides and internal bullet locks as standard, resulting in a shutter that benefits from advanced security but with the style and ease of operation as their existing industrial shutters. SWS UK are working with The Loss Prevention Certification Board to put the 7502 through rigorous tests which include a series of extended timed attacks with tools of a higher mechanical advantage than those used in the level 1 tests. The LPS 1175 test stipulates the allowable toolset and minimum time at each security rating to prevent forcible entry into the building. It is becoming increasingly popular for products with a security rating to be specified by architects and builders, therefore SWS UK hope that they will shortly be able offer an industrial range that encompasses both a level 1 and level 2 roller shutter.
