In an age where life is so busy and as a result people are so ‘time-poor’, words like ‘anxiety’ and ‘stress’ have become part of everyday conversation. People in all career-types, be it business executives, company directors or stay-at-home parents, are resorting to ‘Life Hacks’ to cope with the ever- increasing demands of their careers and lives in general. Anything that eases the workload and reduces the stress can be a welcome relief to individuals and businesses. In 2017 KCC Architectural, a well-known player in the construction and architectural world, spoke about their genuine desire to create systems and processes that make life easier for their clients. This development by KCC has been of huge interest to construction professionals and architects in particular, as it eliminates a large chunk of the workload from their already hectic schedules, allowing them to concentrate on other aspects of their work, while also giving them the reassurance that everything being used has been tried and tested, is fully compliant to current legislation and meets the appropriate performance and fire/smoke standards.
