Therefore the 57mm slimline extruded Aluminium frame-set and 100kg rated multi-directional hinges are more than a match for the components used by competitors. All that was needed to complete the product design was some tried and tested components such as door stay mechanisms, shoot bolts and locking mechanisms and JD (UK)’s technical team could combine the strength and durability of Alutech aluminium systems with the 45mm Alutech sectional door panel to create the Alutech Duo-Leaf side hinge door. Being JD (UK)’s first manufacturing venture, this project has been over a year in the making and the company has invested in all the right machinery and tooling to do the job to the high-end level of quality that their customers expect. What’s more is that controlling the manufacturing process has enabled JD to offer this great new product in lead-times as short as 3-4 weeks, which is already proving to be a real winner.
