BID Group’s Marine Grade Powder Coating Comes to The Rescue! Lifeboat stations protect and launch lifeboats, house crews, and play a crucial part in the lifesaving service. The sea’s relentless power inevitably leads to a need for repairs. Lifeboat buildings and structures must be practical, versatile and tough enough to take a pounding. BID Group Ltd were called in to replace a corroded sectional door with a single phase insulated roller shutter complete with windows and battery back-up. Marine Grade powder coating was used on all parts to help combat the coastal elements.
