Door Industry Journal - Spring 2018
Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 88 THE door industry journal spring 2018 Automated Gates & Barriers French company Horizal is reporting huge interest in its range of quality aluminium gates, with an increasing number of installations. Based in the Rhône-Alps region, near Lyon, Horizal is expanding across the world through aluminium gates in a range of styles and finishes. The UK is proving a particularly receptive market, with consumers across the country choosing the aluminium option – a gate that is much lighter than wooden, iron or steel alternatives, is naturally rust-free, and boasts an incredible level of weather resistance. The UK is Horizal’s biggest expanding market, and the company is building up a growing network of “Portaliers” - aluminium gate installation experts who are trained, approved and regulated by Horizal and are licensed to install the product in a designated, exclusive area. Each “Portalier” is trained by Horizal in the techniques of swinging, sliding or cantilevered aluminium gates, and the types of hinges and fastenings used during installation. They can also receive advice on safety standards and regulations, as well as gate automation and access control. “Portaliers” also receive a comprehensive sales start up package. This includes full colour brochures – printed with the relevant company details - price lists, technical brochures, colour catalogues and demonstration cases with all swing and sliding gate profiles, handles, colours, fencing parts, glass inserts and hinge samples. Two sample gates - one powder-coated and one woodgrain finish – are also provided, in padded protective bags. Horizal Aluminium Gates Deliver Strong UK Sales Performance
