Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk Industry News Sussex based Garage Door Specialists to Skydive 15,000ft for Children’s Charity Will and Steve Oakley, of Garage Door Associates in Lancing West Sussex, are doing a Skydive in aid of Chestnut Tree House, a children’s charity. Will aged 71 and Stephen aged 43 will be skydiving 15,000ft on 1st June 2019. To support the event, Stephen has set up a Just Giving page to raise funds at www.justgiving.com – search “Stephen Oakley” and look for the listing in aid of Chestnut Tree House, alternatively use the long link at the end of this article. Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care services and community support for children and young people with progressive life- shortening conditions throughout East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire. Stephen said: “On the behalf of my father Will and myself, I would like to thank the following companies who (at the time of writing this article) have already supported our chosen charity. Hormann UK, AlluGuard, Capital Garage Doors, Wayne Chafe from Garador and Derek Hibbart at the Door Industry Journal.” It currently costs over £3.9 million each year to provide all the care services offered by Chestnut Tree House. Families are never charged for their care and less than 6p in every pound is funded by the government, so they rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex. Will Oakley concluded by saying: “Please take a moment to help us add even more to our target (which thanks to the generosity so far, we have exceeded) by donating to this worthy cause at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stephen-oakley5 .”
