NRG Automation has become synonymous with roller door controls and safety edges. If you have fitted a roller door in the last 5 years it is almost certain that you have used an NRG Automation product most notably a Teleco control panel, which since 2014 has become the UK’s most popular. In conjunction with Teleco, NRG Automation have listened to the UK market to provide the best in roller door controls, and their adaptability has led to the new NRG Automation ROLL SAFE control panel. Let there be light: The market said that bulbs were too dull, and sometimes prone to breaking, therefore NRG Automation have introduced a panel that now features a bright LED light that lasts 10,000 hours. No test leads, no problems: At the end of an installation, when all you want to do is finish off and get paid, you realise you have forgotten your test leads which normally means setting the limits could be awkward, well no longer. The NRG Automation ROLL SAFE control panel is supplied in deadman operation and with 2 handy buttons which allow you to move the door into the correct position. Once the limits are set, simply hold the two buttons simultaneously, wait for the beep, and then use as normal. Longer Holiday time: The new ROLL SAFE is still provided with the popular Holiday Mode feature. However, many people found that homeowners were inadvertently activating it. NRG Automation have now extended the activation period to ten seconds to minimise the chance of accidentally setting the feature. This means that homeowners can now go on holiday having intentionally shut off their control panel, and installers won’t get any more annoying calls saying their front cover controls won’t work. ASK: One of NRG Automation’s most popular feature that allows you to upsell very easily, is the ASK function, and this has been incorporated into the ROLL SAFE panel. For just the cost of an additional specialised handset the end-user can determine whether they have left their door open from the comfort of their living room. So, what else is new at NRG Automation? An extended motor range: Thanks to their new partnership with Ellard, NRG Automation is now in a position to offer a much broader range of tubular motors to meet market demand. As well as the existing range of motors, which are day to day items at NRG Automation, new to the range will be the market tested: • 150Nm, 180Nm, 230Nm, 300Nm, motors giving NRG Automation the ability to lift doors from the smallest to the very biggest when combined with the new control panel. • The 230Nm and 300Nm also have the new smaller head which at only 46mm allows for installation on even more applications. • Along with a 500Nm tubular motor and a range of 3-phase motors, NRG Automation is fast becoming the home of the one-stop shop for your automation requirements.
