The new UK based company, Microtronics U.K. Ltd, will have the main goal of providing technical assistance for Microtronics’ products. This is important news for the company’s numerous British and Irish customers, who can now count on a local laboratory that can assist them with calibrations and repairs without the need to send them to the Italian headquarters. The calibration, for this kind of precision instruments, is recommended to be carried out every year and can be easily booked through the Microtronics website; the force tester is then shipped to the UK laboratory, where it will be calibrated and repaired if needed, and then sent back to the customer. Microtronics U.K. Ltd is also working towards the development of a training course specifically covering the use of the BlueForce Smart tester and how to interpret the measurement results according to the regulations and the specific kind of gate.
