Leading garage door manufacturer Garador, have addressed both aspects in their range of FrontGuard front doors. Security these days is paramount in any build; and Garador’s FrontGuard front doors have been specifically designed and engineered for added protection against break ins. Secondly, insulation is key as more and more households strive to minimise heat loss and reduce their energy bills. With Garador’s FrontGuard the highest levels of thermal insulation have been included to protect a house from the weather. Along with this exceptional security and thermal insulation, Garador’s FrontGuard range has been designed to add exciting new style and great new looks to any home. The FrontGuard door collection comes in three stylish ranges: Modern, Classic and Contemporary. They are all filled with 46mm dense polyurethane foam and have thermal breaks built into the frame to enhance thermal performance. Double glazed panes, in various effects, are part of some designs allowing natural light whilst minimising heat loss. Further protection comes from watertight rubber seals on all four sides of the door panel, plus a 20mm aluminium and plastic threshold to stop water ingress at the bottom of the door. Overall, Garador’s FrontGuard range offers a very high level of overall thermal insulation with U-values of as low as 1.1 W/m 2 K. For extra security, Garador’s FrontGuard range incorporates secure five-point locking; two conical swing bolts, two security bolts and an additional lock bolt. At one switch, these all engage instantly into the frame’s lock plates while pulling the door further into the frame seals for maximum security. The doors also have RC2 certified security equipment. There are a great range of different doors, styles and colours to choose from in the FrontGuard range, and there is also FrontGuard Plus for those wanting even more stringent protection.
