We regularly hire and train apprentices, believing that the younger generation are hugely important for keeping knowledge and experience within our industry. Many home improvement sectors have large amounts of their key industry knowledge retiring each year, and that has a real risk of loss within that sector. Steve is still very much involved in the day to day running of the business, but has built a highly skilled team to grow, develop and manage what we do, whilst keeping all of our customers, old and new, happy. The future Having been in the Ravensthorpe warehouse for 6 years, space has been getting tight so 2 more warehouses on the estate have been taken on to cater for the ongoing growth – the newest being the new home for sectional garage doors. The internal sales team take great pleasure in going the extra mile to ensure clients expectations are met, whilst Jason and Nikki are forever travelling the roads of the UK to further develop the Alutech brand with clients new and existing. A new salesperson for the South is currently being recruited as well as additional sales coordinators, so the team is forever expanding. Rick, who recently joined as Service Engineer has also been a great addition to the team with his vast knowledge of all things garage doors, and with great feedback from customers, he is proving very beneficial to our service offering. As we know a number of our customers also work on other residential improvement projects, such as doors and windows. Being aligned with Alutech Systems has great benefits too, with customers wanting trusted Alutech products able to get quality bifolding, patio and entrance doors (and imminently windows too) to add to their portfolio.
