Featuring innovative products across the project and residential construction markets, all of the new products and features will be available from Hörmann UK during the first half of the year. Highlights include eye-catching new finishes across the range of Hörmann garage doors, including Slategrain, Duragrain Diamond and an extended range of finished colours. Additional styes have also been added to the extensive range of steel entrance doors, together with the introduction of the Thermo65 black edition – a range of fittings and accessories available in elegant Jet black. Completely new from Hörmann is the introduction of steel loft doors, industrial styled glazed doors suitable for both project and residential construction. Not only a fantastic addition to a cool and contemporary domestic residence, but also a new twist in the creation of individual rooms and offices in commercial premises. A new sectional door for the Industrial sector has been developed and is now available to the UK market. The Series 60 provides the Hörmann guarantee of quality construction, high security, and simple fitting, and fitted with the new Aluroll Confirms Appointment of Chris McKniff and Barry Mahon as Company Directors Aluroll is celebrating its continued success in recent years by promoting two members of staff to the role of Director. Chris McKniff and Barry Mahon are being recognised for the key parts they have played in positioning Aluroll as the UK’s largest independent roller shutter manufacturer. Aluroll reported record-breaking 2020 sales in December, and early 2021 sales figures are showing a continued pattern. The directorship appointments were approved last March, with confirmation being finalised in September due to Covid-related delays. Chris McKniff: Commercial Director Many Door Industry Journal readers will already be familiar with Chris. Since joining Aluroll in 2011 he has strengthened the focus on exceptional service levels, ensuring the company consistently delivers above and beyond expectations. Most new and long-standing customers will have had the pleasure of dealing with Chris at some point and he has had a very positive impact on the development of the sales team throughout his time with Aluroll. Chris intends to remain hands-on in his approach as Commercial Director, ensuring that Aluroll’s unrivalled efficiency, customer care and personal touches are unhampered by the company’s growth. His new appointment ensures these key values will remain at the heart of Aluroll. Barry Mahon: Production Director With an extensive installation background, Barry Mahon joined Aluroll in 2016 in the role of Production Manager. Responsible for both the aluminium and steel production facilities at Aluroll’s Shropshire base, Barry’s enthusiasm and leadership has proven invaluable. Aluroll’s production capacity has more than doubled in recent years as Barry and his team have targeted factory efficiencies and sought to maintain the highest product quality standards. Aluroll prides itself on the ability to provide the fastest turnaround times of any manufacturer and this became particularly relevant throughout 2020’s Covid crisis. In his new appointment as Production Director Barry will remain responsible for overseeing manufacture, technical and new product development, a unique insight which will be welcomed onto the board of directors.
