More clients than ever are being attracted by Trojon’s reputation for supplying high-quality electric roller garage doors, which is combined with great after-sales service. This has helped the company to become the fastest-growing domestic roller shutter company in the UK. Installers are also impressed by the fact that Trojon makes doors with the fitter in mind, as Associate Director Tony Spong explains: “Everything we manufacture is made with the fitter in mind,” he explains. “All doors are ready to install when they arrive – so there is no drilling, screwing and building up necessary. And all control systems are pre-fitted, wired up and checked in the factory for operation before delivery. That’s good news for our clients, as they have less work to do, but also for their customers – as they don’t have a building site in operation on their driveway. With our doors, installation is a quick and simple job.” What’s more, Trojan offers lead times that are amongst the best in the industry – averaging at three weeks or less – thanks to an operation that is 99% self- sufficient, which means there is none of the unexpected delays and problems that can often happen when outsourcing. “We’re being told by many of our new customers that lead times is a big draw for them,” continues Tony. “This may be because some manufacturers are struggling to control this aspect of their operation. Also, imports from the continent may have been hit by Brexit confusion - but as we are in control of our stock supply chains that is not an issue for us.” To cope with growing demand, the company moved into new premises last year, where extra space is being used to showcase Trojon’s premier 77 roller garage door and product ranges for trade customers. Also, there is a dedicated area for development testing and sharing technical knowledge and product installation knowledge with clients. Trojon has also developed a new sample folder that allows trade customers to showcase Trojon products and colours. The folder highlights important specifications and unique products, such as Trojon’s 250mm hood box option - developed by the firm’s specialist engineers. The use of the 250mm box, which accommodates a 77mm lath, eliminates 75% of the need to supply a smaller inferior compact 55mm door. Trojon can manufacture a roller garage door up to 5metres wide in a 250mm hood box, giving greater drive- through height in restricted spaces. The sample folder also reminds the customer of the new external release kit that Trojon has designed in-house to fit directly on the guide. “The last twelve months have certainly been tough for us, as they have for everyone, but I’m very proud of how the whole team have pulled together to raise our game during the pandemic and continue to offer an excellent service to our clients,” comments Tony. “We know that when we concentrate on what we’re good at – making high-quality doors with the fitter in mind that are delivered quickly – then we bring in new trade, so I’m very confident for the future.” To find out more about Trojon Roller Doors, visit www.trojonrollerdoors.co.uk , call 0116 283 7744, or email info@trojonrollerdoors.co.uk
