At the start of the year, Paula Farrington joined the Wigan-based manufacturer as Sales Coordinator. Paula brings a wealth of experience in pre-sales and customer service. In her most recent role before joining Alliance, she worked for a leading 3D printer re-seller offering diverse 3D printing applications. She will be working closely with Sales Director, Tim Stuart, ensuring that Alliance maintains their high standards of customer service by directly supporting its trade customers throughout the UK, Ireland and further afield. One of the first projects they will work on is a pilot scheme and rollout of a new online portal. Several Alliance customers have already been trialling the portal, which when launched, will enable Alliance’s customers to log in and generate their own quotations as well as obtain instant technical drawings personalised with their branding. The portal developed entirely in-house, has been receiving positive feedback from the customers trialling it on the pilot scheme, praising its simplicity and ease of use. It’s sure to be a big hit once available to all of Alliance’s growing customer base. Each year the company supports the Lord’s Larder, a Christian organisation which provides emergency food supplies to families across the area. This year Garador staff donated a huge range of items, including biscuits, pasta, soups and tinned vegetables. “We are always delighted to help this charity which supports so many local families in difficult times,” said Paul Eddleston, Marketing Manager at Garador. “Last year the charity assisted over 8,000 local people and it is good to see our staff and the local community all coming together in this way.” To find out more about The Lord’s Larder, please visit their website at www.lordslarder.chardct.org.uk and to find out more about Garador and their range of garage doors, please visit www.garador.co.uk Industry News Interested in appearing in the Spring Edition?
