BGS have completed an Alpha Deuren Multiple Door Installation for Scania GB Ltd at the Clients’ Busiest Site in the UK Alpha Deuren International and Bolton Gate Services (BGS) have been working together for many years. Some time ago, they jointly delivered and supervised the Scania project. Below you can read about this customer’s journey. We have also completed multiple-door installations for our customers at Hull and South Mimms in 2023. The Heathrow project presented challenges for both our client and the installation team, as this is a 24-hour site and the client’s busiest location in the UK. Scania is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, including trucks and buses for heavy transport applications. Working at this site required our engineers, the project manager and the depot manager to work closely with the client to coordinate the project with minimal impact on the customers’ business. From the initial delivery and storage to the disposal of the existing doors, every aspect of the project was carefully considered. Meticulous planning with both Scania and BGS avoided this, working alongside a well-planned schedule from delivery and storage to the final commission. The Alpha design team developed a bespoke design driven by the client’s specification request. The product is also equipped with a GFA drive unit making the package easy for our engineers to install. Coloured glass or hollow-core plates, play with the divisions or combine various ISO panels with the ALU sections for a great result.
