The 44mm door slab is manufactured using grained and smooth impact resistant GRP SMC skins. Stiles and Rails are manufactured from a waterresistant pure PVC polymer and reinforced using LVL (laminated veneered lumber) timbers. SecureDesign board reinforcing to the door slab couples with the Fort glazing cassette systems creating a proven combination for achieving a security level to PAS24:2016. The door ranges comprise of 48 styles from classic traditional designs to ultra-contemporary doors and side panels. 20 textured and patterned glass options and over 50 glazing designs combine with custom etching letters and numbers to give every door a statement look. With standard solid colours, woodgrain colours, foil matched colours to complement windows and a premium colour range, the combinations feel almost limitless. Hardware is not skimped either – lever handles, doorknobs, pull handles, door knockers, letterplates, escutcheons and spy holes make up the options in a choice of colours. Not a company to rest on its laurels, Fort Doors has introduced an impressive range of composite entrance doors and double-glazed window units. “It’s quite a leap forward for Fort and, if you know Fort, we don’t do anything without knowing there is a solid demand for well made, good value products. We’ve already secured a healthy order book and, most importantly, repeat orders that prove the ranges are first-class”. Commented Lee Moon, Fort’s Managing Director.
