A simple press of the handle or handset will open the door to a predetermined point. Not only does this system make the transmitters more secure but also means that signal is more reliable while extending operating distances. Another benefit of the system is that it includes a remote status query. A simple push of a button will tell you whether an out of sight door is open or closed. As well as improving the technology, the appearance of the new transmitters has been taken to new levels. Available in a black or white high gloss finish that replicates piano lacquer, the new transmitters have an elegant design that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. As an added convenience the new, full size handsets use AAA batteries and can be supplied with a holding station. Designed for use where there is limited internal space, this option features barrel cladding and a frame in the same colour as the door. Also there is aluminium cladding for the tension springs that include vision panels, while the barrel cladding to cover the operator is only 100mm wide and can be fitted on either the left or right. A € 10 million investment in new production facilities for RollMatic has enabled Hörmann to maintain lead times as demand for RollMatic continues to accelerate. Colour matched barrel casings can now be ordered for all RollMatic installations and a strengthened fascia panel is a new option.
