Jewers Doors’ reseller, Cooks Industrial Doors based in Norwich, has recently installed two sets of doors from Jewers Doors’ Phoenix range of industrial sliding and folding doors - one set for a fire station, the other for a water authority. For Stradbroke fire station in Suffolk, Cooks installed Swift side-hung, bi-folding doors to replace old glazed wooden folding doors. Swift doors are ideal for emergency service appliance bays due to their rapid operation, security and full-height line-of-sight to appliance drivers at all times. For Anglian Water, Cooks installed an eight-leaf Osprey sliding-folding door (see picture) to a workshop facility in Attleborough, Norfolk. At nearly 9 metres wide by 4 metres high, the folding action provides the end user with a very versatile solution. Being manually operated, leaves can be effortlessly opened to provide full-height vehicle access through part or all of the opening. Traditionally used in numerous industrial applications from helicopter hangars to power stations, Osprey doors are durable, reliable and simple to install. Cooks Industrial Doors has considerable experience of installing doors of all types and has recently become a Jewers Doors reseller. Both companies are members of the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF).
