It is of course a good example of Fort’s laminate range. As is the case with all players in this industry, the Fort laminate range is designed to complement the Golden Oak and Rosewood windows that have become extremely popular in recent times. Many of you will be thinking that this is all very interesting, but it is not really any different to what other suppliers offer or indeed something that is in keeping with the innovative nature of Fort Doors! So the Fort twist is the part you are waiting to hear all about - is that right? Well here it is; laminate doors from 5’6” wide x 5’8” high which were recently ordered by Wakefield Garage Doors (see picture) , or this Golden Oak 7’0” x 7’0” tracked door on a 50mm frame which was fitted by Northern Doors on the Wirral (see picture) . The Fort range was selected in each of these examples to maximise the drive through width and still allow the customer a standard sized door, thus saving them money, and also maximising profits. The Fort “twist” treatment has also been given to their panels, with them offering a standard horizontal panel in laminate up to 8’ wide, and standard vertical panel in laminate up to 14’ 0” wide (see picture) .
