The scheme, which is also known as the ‘99ers’, sees members make a regular donation of a minimum of 99p per day to help generate a sustainable income for the hospice. Duane Swift, director of Excel Industrial Doors and Shutters, said: “We are delighted to support the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice which will hopefully see our donations make a real difference to the charity, and help them maintain the high level of work they do. “As we are based in Huddersfield, we have a big interest in supporting local charities and schemes that benefit the local people, so it’s wonderful to help make a difference. Hopefully our contributions, alongside the many other Yorkshire-based businesses that are involved in the 99ers scheme, can bring some happiness to the children and families at this hospice.” The Excel team will also be running office based fundraising activities throughout the year to add to their donation to the hospice, starting this month with an office charity sweet box. The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has been supporting children with life shortening conditions, and their families, within the West Yorkshire region for over 13 years. Since they opened, they have supported more than 100 children through their hospice at home service, and at their state of the art hospice in Huddersfield. These two new accreditations add to Taskmaster’s existing ISO9001 Quality Management system and elevate the business to the enviable position of having a fully Integrated Management System (IMS). Explains Tony Winwood, one of the IMS Coordinators at Taskmaster Doors Ltd: “Having all three accreditations in place is a superb achievement for both the company and our customers who will benefit from an even higher standard of work from us. We will also now be able to tender for larger, more lucrative contracts that will further enhance our business growth. “Whilst the ISO9001 quality standard has traditionally been the yardstick when identifying a possible supplier, we recognized that our customers were increasingly coming under pressure from their own stakeholders to achieve the highest levels of health and safety and environmental performance from their supply chain. Now we have the new accreditations under our belt, we can help our customers reach these objectives.” Concludes Tony: “By achieving these standards, everyone who contracts or works with us can be left in no doubt of Taskmaster’s ability to perform to the very highest standards and exceed expectations wherever possible.” For further details on the comprehensive range of Taskmaster hinged steel doorsets which include fire rated, security rated and acoustic rated, contact the technical sales team on +44 (0)121 351 5276 , email sales@taskmaster.co www.taskmaster.co
