“Ellard continues to grow…..” Ellard continues with its growth and dominance of the Industrial Door and Gate Automation market with a planned 600m2 extension to be completed by the end of 2015 this will house an assembly area for industrial door drives, allowing Ellard to sustain its place as a leading supplier in this industry. Ellard Managing Director Dave Lewis commented about the new extension: “Since the move to our new premises in September 2013, we have seen a steady growth in our sales. The extension will house three bespoke motor assembly lines and our Research and Development Department; this will free space in the existing warehouse for additional stock and allow the introduction of new products such as Sliding Door Automation, a new and exciting market sector.” With the continued successful relationship with Danish control panel supplier, Dalmatic, Ellard’s production team test every motor before delivery. Ellard are the UK and Ireland’s exclusive supplier of the Mini Basic, Mini Standard and V7E Controls; these can now be incorporated as standard in our Direct Drives, Flange and Sectional Door Motors. “Ellard extends its portfolio” Recent exciting developments from Ellard include a number of new products; • Easy Fit – This is a replacement for the now obsolete “FittersMate”. The Easy Fit is a simple control panel that encompasses all the features of the fitters mate plus more. For example, the Easy Fit can be run volt free and used with a built in remote. • FDCP – This Fire Door Control Panel provides a comprehensive control for industrial fire resisting roller shutters. Replacing the FCP03, the FDCP has numerous extra features, making the system more user-friendly and cost effective to the consumer. The FDCP incorporates ‘Airport Spec’ as standard, this allows users to include a panic button allowing the shutter to re-open and close in fire mode. Matching Repeater Panel also available with high intensity long life LED illumination. • Docking Panels – Ellard can now provide a full range of Dock Control Panels for new installations and replacement of existing control panels. The range covers both swing lip and telescopically controlled dock levellers, in addition, we can manufacture bespoke panels to include air bag, door, traffic lights and truck lock functions.
