On the 21st June, five people from SWR completed the challenging London to Brighton Bike Ride. Riding a gruelling 54 miles to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, the UK’s number one heart charity. The team of five – Jason, Nathan, Aaron, Joel and Tom prepared well by completing many long, testing training sessions – and they were rewarded for it when they all successfully climbed Ditchling Beacon without stopping. They wore their SWR cycling tops with pride as they raised an impressive £2510 to date. They would like to send a sincere thank you to everyone for the sponsorships and support, and are already hoping to go one better next year… garage doors Staff Update SWR Spares have also taken on a new team member; Maigan Lamb will be working alongside Steven Lee, maintaining our high level of customer service. Shelby McAlinden-Wall made us all proud winning an apprenticeship award for her outstanding performance both at SWR and college.
