Auto Door Consultant Ray Greening joins BFT to expand UK sales Ray Greening has confirmed his move from DSS to BFT Automation, tasked with spearheading the UK launch of the suite of Vista automatic door products. BFT are delighted to confirm Ray’s recent move to BFT Automation in the role of Automatic Door Consultant. Having worked previously as a Business Development Manager at Tormax and almost seven at years at DSS (a FAAC group company); Ray has extensive knowledge of the market. His move comes at a time when BFT are announcing record- breaking sales in the gate and barrier divisions of the global, 100 million euro organisation. The company’s decision to boost and drive forward the availability of Vista products throughout the UK has been, in part, determined by the tremendous feedback and reliability shown by the thousands of operators installed across Europe. Ray’s appointment as a dedicated Automatic Door consultant will support the existing team of 6 Business Development Managers in taking Vista to the UK market. Ray comments: “Having over 25 years of my life in the Fire Service before entering the door industry, knowing something is well built and reliable is important to me. The Vista products are well engineered, powerful and of course fully EN16005 compliant. With excellent motors and Italian attention to detail, Vista is what installers have been waiting for; backed up by exceptional BFT technical support. I am confident that more and more customers will see the benefits of using Vista where reliability, power and safety are crucial.” The Vista range includes two swing units: the Vista MXL which comes with inbuilt battery back-up as standard and the Vista SXL which provides a spring return. The Vista Slide comes in three versions: single door slide, bi-parting dual door and the SL C1 telescopic option for when space is at a premium. There is also an SLC version with a slim line canopy only 80mm deep. Ray continued: “BFT don’t simply sell boxes; we sell confidence. We understand that the single most important thing that our customers require is confidence that we are working with them to deliver superb solutions which their customers can rely on.” Ray has been visiting current BFT customers across the UK. He reports “One of our customers has fitted in excess of 500 Vista Swing units in challenging situations with excellent reliability. They have for example encountered no arm failures; a problem experienced using their previous supplier’s product. In fact we are so confident that the Vista range is backed up by a two year warranty”. He concluded saying: “Vista is not a cheap product; it’s an excellent yet affordable, competitive solution. Engineering a product down to a price that compromises quality is simply not the BFT way. I am looking forward to seeing Vista products ‘on the gates and over the doors’ of many more prestige premises in the near future.” For more information on the BFT Vista range of automatic door products, email Ray on doorindustry@bft.co.uk or call on 0161 456 0456.
