GATEWAY DRIVERLESS CAR PROJECT, GREENWICH Nice UK motors were recently selected to automate the gates at the GATEway project at Greenwich, an important research project that seeks to understand the legal, technical and social challenges associated with the approaching rise of automated vehicles. Installers Portcullis Automation chose Nice’s Toona 4 motors for the project. Complete with models to suit all sizes of gates, the Toona motors are among Nice UK’s most popular ranges. Sturdy and able to withstand intensive use, their design allows ease of access to internal parts, making them easy to install and maintain. In this installation, they provided a reliable and attractively designed option with fast opening and closing times, which was ideal for the GATEway project’s needs.
