These include new sectional doors, Sommer remote control systems - for both sectional doors and roller doors - and three new roller door colour options: pale grey RAL7038, duck egg blue BS16c33 and black wood effect in the laminate range. The brochure includes an updated range of spares and accessories, including tubular motors, lock straps and aluminium profiles. A new octagonal shaft upgrade kit is being launched - this features the Deprat 89c round tube complete with locking rings and straps, which is used on the AlluGuard 77 range of roller doors. This is designed to allow installers to replace old lifting mechanisms on roller doors where the curtain is still fully functional. In addition, the brochure showcases the AlluGuard 77 roller door, which has once again been accredited by Secured by Design (SBD) - the police-backed scheme that supports the principle of ‘designing out crime’ through security-focused products. What’s more, AlluGuard is offering a new wireless home control device: the Somfy Tahoma Home Hub, which allows consumers to control their garage door - as well as curtains, blinds, heating, electrical equipment and more - through a smartphone or tablet. The hub is compatible with RTS® and numerous other radio protocols. “We are now offering more choice than ever,” says AlluGuard Managing Director Gary Brooks. “The brochure and all the new additions are based around the key decision factors in buying a garage door, which are security, insulation, convenience, colours and remote control.” AlluGuard is also preparing to launch a new website – The Garage Door Channel – that will showcase the company’s whole range. “The aim of this new site is to appeal more directly to the end consumer by providing a range of short videos – all shot on location – that explore the features and benefits of roller doors and sectional doors in a way that really sells the products, rather than just describing them,” explains Gary. “This will support our print-based marketing materials and give our resellers an effective web-based resource to enhance their own sales activity. We will also link to the site through email marketing campaigns.” AlluGuard Launches New Brochure EUGENE PEREZ JOINS ALLUGUARD AlluGuard is adding to its senior team, with the news that door industry veteran Eugene Perez is joining the firm as Sales Manager.
