It would have been easy to let Portico carry on with its successful business model but, as NVM Managing Director John Seymour explains, the company did not want to simply rely on past success: “We bought Portico to expand our presence in the West Midlands area, as we look to build a spine right through the UK,” he explains. “The firm was first on our list of targets as it has such an outstanding reputation, so we were delighted to make the acquisition. Since then we’ve looked to build on what are very firm foundations to offer an even better service to new and existing customers alike.” Amongst the changes introduced by NVM has been the relaunch of the popular Eurogard garage door range, an option that is ideal when space is at a premium and offers benefits such as a 20mm thick curtain for improved noise reduction, built-in autolocks for added security, and two sets of curtain feeding rollers for smooth running.
