Once again, leading Swiss manufacturer, Bircher, have reacted to the market’s needs with the introduction of the new ELE016/026 safety edge profile which combines the size of a smaller, standard S-Line profile with the aesthetic benefits of their popular CoverLine range. This fully-compliant safety edge measures a mere 17mm wide by 27mm high when fitted and neatly clips into the side of the aluminium mounting rail, hiding it from view and benefitting from secure mounting. The addition of full end caps, which are new to the S-Line range, completes its seamless look. The profile was specifically developed with more ornate and complex gate designs in mind, to allow for mounting onto much smaller box sections of a gate. In addition, this profile can be mounted onto rounded barrier booms with a unique radius mounting rail for added safety. With an activation distance of 3mm at a force of only 55N, this edge is the optimal choice for ensuring your automated gate or barrier system is safe. “We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this profile, which has generated a great deal of interest with our customers” said Derek Foreman, Director – IN2 Access and Control Ltd. “We now look forward to giving our customers an even greater choice when it comes to making new and existing installations safe and compliant.” For more information visit - www.in2access.co.uk automated gates and barriers
