There’s been an incredibly positive reaction from the industry for Alutech’s new range of double doors on side extension springs. These doors are now hugely popular when compared to fitting the alternatives with rear or standard front torsion springs. In the past, doors that exceeded a width of 3500mm had to be fitted on torsion springs, which were time consuming and not as aesthetically pleasing as side extension sprung doors, that have the option to come with protective covers over the springs to prevent any trapped fingers! JD (UK) unveiled the DDTNS range at the very successful Macmillan Coffee Morning and Open Day. The team were excited for the launch and couldn’t wait to see customer’s reactions for this innovative product that is the first of it’s kind in the industry. Currently, the company are experiencing high volumes of quotes and orders for the new Alutech Double Door which are nevertheless, still being turned around in the usual 3 to 4 weeks lead time which is generating much positive feedback such as: “After hearing about Alutech’s new product range, I was looking forward to trying one with the new Levigato operator to see just how much time it would save me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it would save me approximately 90 minutes whilst on site. This for me means that I now have the capability to fit at least two doors where before I would just have enough time for the one!
