SeceuroDoor 7502 – an Industrial Door with a Level 2 Security Rating is now available from SWS UK Following the completion of extensive development and testing, SWS UK are proud to announce the addition of SeceuroDoor 7502 to their range of industrial products. The commercial shutter has recently undergone independent testing and has been developed to SR2. The door is available alongside their existing 7501 (with a level 1 security rating) and their standard SeceuroDoor 75. Having been developed with their in-house product development team, the robust 7502 is manufactured with an 18-gauge steel, as opposed to the 20 or 22 used on their standard commercial products and is fitted with windlocks, wind guides and internal bullet locks as standard, resulting in a shutter that benefits from advanced security but with the style and ease of operation as their existing industrial shutters. SWS UK have been working alongside The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to put the 7502 through rigorous tests which include a series of extended timed attacks with tools of a higher mechanical advantage than those used in the level 1 tests. The LPS 1175 test stipulates the allowable toolset and minimum time at each security rating to prevent forcible entry into the building. The 7502 has met all standards set by the board and as a result has been awarded the prestigious level 2 security rating. SWS UK’s Product Development Manager Paul Cowley commented: “We are continually working to develop and improve our product range, and we always place a strong emphasis on security. There is a significant increase in demand for products with a security rating, particularly from architects and builders, therefore we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised by the LPCB and that we are now able offer an industrial range that encompasses both a level 1 and level 2 roller shutter”. The SeceuroShield 7502 which is also a Secured by Design product is available now. For further information or to arrange a quotation telephone SWS UK’s head office on 01524 772400. Klimate Keeps in the Cold BID Group Ltd were recently called in to a Lancashire Dairy when a new High Speed Door was needed for their cold store. In order to keep their range of refrigerated products at the optimum temperature, BID Group Ltd recommended an Ardent XP KLIMATE high speed door. Stephen Sutton Sales Manager at BID Group said: “The key features of the Klimate door is the speed the doors open and close. Not only do the doors provide valuable energy savings by maintaining room temperature, but also reduces contamination. The working environment is also improved by controlling the flow of traffic and the reduction to noise levels”. The Dairy added: “We are very happy with our new KLIMATE high speed door as it helps to keep our fridge full of dairy products at the right temperature.
