Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk Locks & Building Hardware Feature Packed Electric Releases from Securefast The latest addition to the wide choice of Securefast electric locking and access control solutions is the new range of slimline AL900 series of ANSI style Electric Releases supplied complete with stainless steel short or long faceplates for use in a wide range of metal and timber door applications. The versatile AL900 electric release is designed to work with most leading brands of deadlocking night latch locks. With a holding force of 1000lbs for convenience and preference, the electric releases whilst on site can be simply converted to fail safe or fail secure mode by the straight forward removal of a holding screw. The Securefast electric releases also have two forms of monitoring, either latch (AL900M) or latch with door position (AL900DM). With features including ease of installation, long and short faceplates included in the pack and simple fail safe/fail secure changeover, the adaptable AL900 electric releases also benefit conversion from 12V to 24V by reconfiguring the wires in a different order. The AL900 has successfully passed a 60 minute timber door fire test with a timber door company. The range can also be supplied with appropriate intumescent material as used in the fire test. Future testing has been arranged for a 30 minute timber door test and a steel door test.
