The Double Deck Dock Shelters also feature an up to 200mm drop to adequately facilitate the loading and unloading of lower vehicles, while the secondary electric roller blind top flaps provide an efficient seal on smaller vehicles when using the bay, minimising any potential transfer of heat loss. Peter Davies, Development Director at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said: “St. Modwen Park Gloucester is an important strategic site for our continued delivery of high-quality industrial and logistics space. The market demand for schemes of this nature within the Gloucestershire area is high, which is evidenced with one unit already let to a leading heating specialist. “The three high-specification warehouses have been constructed using Hörmann UK’s portfolio of products to provide our clients with the highest standards in functionality, safety and security. The bays have been installed in conjunction with Hörmann UK’s innovative rayon reinforced Dock Bumpers, which are constructed from recycled rubber with 15mm thick steel. The bumper pairs are designed to minimise any potential damage to the bay in the event of a vehicle making direct contact with the building. The bays are also complemented by Hörmann UK’s LED Traffic Lights and LED Dock Lights to provide the highest standards in safety and operational efficiency.
