The kit has been designed by Trojon’s own engineers and fitting takes place in the factory at the production stage – directly on to the guide rail – so installers save time on site. It has been designed to enable fitting to both 75mm and 95mm guides. And, as Tony Spong, Associate Director at Trojon Doors explains, the idea for the kit came from listening to what installers want: “At Trojon, we are always looking for ways to help installers on site,” he says. “So, we take the time to listen to them and respond accordingly. And if this means redesigning and manufacturing a product to help, our in-house engineers always have the solution. “This is what guided the evolution and development of the new manual release kit, as installers wanted something that both saves time and avoids causing damage to a customer’s property when fitting through the brickwork. “Also, a face plate can sometimes be unsightly on brickwork, but ours is slim-line and looks part of the guide rail - so is aesthetically pleasing,” adds Tony.
