Known as the ZF80, the upgrade is a new lifting system for the AlluGuard 77, which comprises a new drive shaft, locking rings and locking straps, along with a new safety brake and AlluDrive motor. The introduction of the ZF80 has made roller door installation much easier, as the safety brake is now pre-fitted, along with an electrical override. Safety has also been improved, as if and when the safety brake activates, the override automatically shuts down the tubular motor – both protecting the device and ensuring that operation is halted and the door is kept in a safe mode. “The AlluGuard 77 is one of the most popular roller doors in the country and is an excellent product,” says AlluGuard MD Gary Brooks. “But we never rest on our laurels and are always looking to improve, which is why we came up with the concept of the ZF80. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into its development and we are delighted with the result. It increases the efficiency and speed of the AlluGuard 77 and makes it significantly easier and quicker to install.
