In an industry that has evolved to meet modern standards, the existing doors had been left behind with limited and archaic safety devices and poor insulation values, which in a modern safety and energy conscious world meant that the existing doors failed on so many fronts. The Alpha design team along with the client set about bringing the doors into the 21st century. It was essential that the doors not only suited the aesthetics of the existing building but also complied with all 8 current safety legislation and had an automation system that catered to the emergency response service the fire station provided. Choosing the Alpha Deuren sectional door as the perfect product for the project equipped with all new bespoke GFA controls and all new door automation and traffic control extras.
