Heading up the department is Technical and Training Manager, John Duffy. With over 20-years’ experience, John is recognised as a technical expert across the company’s entire range of garage doors, shutters, gates and industrial products. With hands-on installation and product development experience, John is a familiar face to SWS UK’s distributors, particularly those who have attended the company’s popular SeceuroSchool training events. Using his extensive knowledge to lead the Technical department, John has recently welcomed Damian Lawson into the team as Technical Advisor. Working in the garage door and shutter industry for an impressive 30-years, Damian has experience in surveying, project management and providing detailed technical advice. Damian joins Duncan Maffey and together, they provide first-class support across the company’s Seceuro range of products. Continuing to lead the way in innovation, SWS UK has adopted modern communication methods to enhance the service they provide. Distributors are now able to use WhatsApp to contact the team with picture messaging and even FaceTime calls, resulting in quicker fault-finding and a more personal experience.
