Having been a valued Hörmann customer for over 30 years, Doorfit was established in 1953 and is now one of the largest independent garage and entrance door suppliers in the UK, supplying both the supply and fit and commercial markets. Running over a 12-month period, support and advice has already been provided for the production of a new and comprehensive company brochure, and the update of the company website. Currently underway is the refurbishment of the Doorfit showroom based at its central Birmingham headquarters. Featuring over 3000 sq foot of space, Doorfit will be adding some of the most recent and innovative new products from the Hörmann range. Slategrain, a natural finish which replicates the curves and structures of slate will be featured. Available for M and L-ribbed sectional doors it is offered in Traffic white and Anthracite grey, plus an extensive choice of RAL colours. Whilst Duragrain Diamond will add a touch of sparkle with a detailed, natural, and colour-fast smooth finish available exclusively for the RenoMatic sectional door. Eight modern colours including Diamond Black and Diamond Red provide a permanently beautiful and scratch resistant finish. Additions to the range of Hörmann steel and aluminium doors on show will include a Thermo65 door featuring one-way glass and an acoustic rated door which provides protection against noise pollution along with good thermal insulation. Further enhancing the ability to create a unique front door is the Thermo 65 black.edition, a range of accessories in elegant Jet-black, which mirror the latest trend for black interior fittings popular in both kitchens and bathrooms. A selection of exterior and interior lever handles and matching stainless steel glazing frames when used together create a sleek and modern look. Doorfit are also one of the first dealers in the UK to trial the Hörmann Homee, a smart home device which brings the garage and the home closer. The Homee provides full home automation by connection to other smart home systems via an app so that they can all operate from one central platform. It’s planned that after the trial period the Homee will take central place in the new showroom adding a further innovative offering to the Doorfit range.
