Typically, installers will have to mount the end plates and barrel simultaneously, demanding strength to hold them up and precision while trying to fix them in place. This feature also gives the installer clear access to the fixing locations and does not require access to the outside of the plates to secure or remove the barrel. The cassette system also holds the weight of the shutter and is quickly secured in place with four self-tapping screws. The result is a light and easy to handle mounting process, requiring less strength and precision. Factory pre-installed and diagnostics Another neat feature we developed with the Vortex Garage Door is assembling the barrel and curtain as a single item from our factory. This means the curtain doesn’t have to be lifted and held in place while it’s attached to the barrel, ultimately reducing two separate tasks into just one - increasing speed of install. The shutter roll is held tight around the barrel on the end retention – reducing the risk of the curtain slipping whilst being installed, which can potentially cause serious damage to the shutter and injure fellow installers. By preinstalling the Vortex Garage Door from our warehouse, we check that every component and functionality is working correctly, like the motor and the controls. We also set operation limits and code the transmitters. No need for tedious wiring or running checks whilst on-site - saving you time and work! Guide fixing Vortex Garage Door also comes with pre-drilled guides. Not to worry, additional holes can still be drilled on-site if needed.
